Still Sandblasting

We're still sandblasting and painting.  The weather isn't really cooperating with us and we've had some equipment issues, but we're keeping at it. We sandblast for several hours, then paint and come back and do it again the next day. By the end of today we hope to have the rest of the bottom of the hull finished and up the sides to the rub rail.

I headed down to the boat this morning to check on the paint; it had only been drying for about 6 hours so we weren't sure it would be ok to sandblast yet.  Paint seemed ok, but we discovered that one of the bags of "sand" we bought yesterdy is wet. GREAT!!  That explains the problems we were having last night. The sand has to be completely dry or it plugs up the equipment and is not effective.  Don't know how we're going to get it dry.

No new pics right now... will take more today as we work up the sides of the boat.  Keeping fingers crossed for some drier weather; I want to get this job done!
